Betty was my mom's (Barbara Ann Myers Yonkman) cousin.  My mom always spoke nicely of her so that was enough for me.  Its sad that the older I get the more I lose people around me, but not the memories.  Rest in peace!

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a cool lady..I remember her coming up to my Grandma's house (Monty) on Dalton Pike.  All tall and thin and with beautiful silver/gray hair. And I just kept smiling/crying looking at the video tribute.  You could almost hear her talking.  I hope you can pull the good memories out to comfort you when it's difficult now.

such a wonderful lady. It was a great pleasure to be involved in her care. Even on her worst days she still had a laugh or funny thought to share. She made it an adventure each day that we saw her just to see what she would come up with next. To see someone with her challenges and her rising to them with the positive outlook that she did gave everyone around her hope. She was an inspiration to the staff, nurses, and other patients that she talked to. she will be missed very much by all of us but for me personally she etched an outlook on me that will remain.

My pryaers for peace to you,
