Story

Betty L. Hall, 88, of Richmond, died Monday, August 11, 2008, in Reid Hospital, Richmond.

She was born in Losantville on July 4, 1920, the daughter of Joe and Marie Brower Myers. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Betty attended New Testament Church of Christ in Hagerstown. She was formerly employed by Modernfold Door in New Castle and Perfect Circle in Hagerstown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Hall, in 2002; an infant daughter, Betty Joe, in 1937; a son, Donald Hall, in 1972; one brother and three sisters.

Survivors include 2 granddaughters, Robin Bauer (Mike) of Brownsville, IN and Marla Lawson (John) of Hagerstown; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Josephine Ammerman of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, August 14, in Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Pastor Paul Gearhardt will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Thursday.

Memorials may be made to New Testament Church of Christ.
