Per Andy Oler: He was my driver's ed teacher, and bet me a milkshake that I would get a ticket within six months of getting my license. I didn't realize at the time that it was a total sucker bet. I lost within the first three weeks. Paying him remains one of my clearest memories from high school.

There are so many memories I have with Mr. Harrison. One that stands out in my mind is when he was helping coach our girls basketball team. There was no one to guard Jen Patterson at 6'4, and she was a little bored with no one to challenge her. So, Mr. Harrison hopped in the drill, drop stepped, and took it to her! He had so much energy, a big smile, and loved every minute of it. Kory and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful role model, teacher, mentor, and person in our young lives. It goes without saying how many lives he touched through his years on this earth. He is responsible for so many wonderful things and his gift is something that keeps on giving, even now that he is gone from us. I know so many of us would not be where we are today without his influence in our lives. He was loved and is truly missed.

Wow, as if words could actually describe how great of a guy Mr. Harrison was to everyone. He was one of the best people I have ever met and it was definitely a blessing to have known him. He is the guy that got me to go out for tennis because he said I had a good backswing. Didn't he always have something good to say about everything and everyone?! He was the most positive person and the smile on his face, well it was always there. He helped coach me in basketball, of course Cindy was my coach too, what a great coach they both were to me. I guess she learned from the best. Every Harrison I know from HS, well you all act just like him and that is something to be so very proud of always! Thanks Mr Harrison for everything you ever did and for being the awesome person that you always were! Love Leigh (Conner) Lombardi
Oops, got cut off. But he touched so many lives and what he left behind will live on forever.
Yes, I had Mr. Harrison for drivers ed too and he made it a lot of fun. One time, we were driving down 38 and there was a car probably a mile ahead of us. I wasn't really paying attention and didn't notice the car slowing down to turn off. Mr. Harrison just kept looking at me and finally he was like, "are you gonna hit the brakes?" He ended up having to slam on the brakes and it was kind of a close call. But we both laughed about it afterward. He said he was never worried but I think deep down he was kind of nervous. Mr. Harrison was just a great guy and teacher and was always very kind to me. He touched so many people's lives . I recently purchased a book called, "Something Worth Leaving Behind," by Brett Beavers and Tom Douglas. There is a poem at the beginning but the quote at the end of each verse is, "If I will love then I will find I have touched another life and that's something, something worth leaving behind." I know Mr. Harrison touched many, many lives and what he left behi

Mr. Harrison made drivers ed a blast! I can remember his nervousness (well I think he was pretending) and my nervousness when it was my turn to drive on I-70. Mr. H. always had a way to make me laugh and to enjoy life. To the entire Harrison family, I am sorry for your loss but I know that Mr. H. has gone on to a better place in life. Cindy, you know I will always remember the drives in the ole' station wagon. I think that is why I passed drivers ed:)
Take care and may time heal your heart.

During the sons Fish and Chip with Dad, we were out on the water on Chelsea II (name of the boat). "FISH ON!" the captain said. Dad's turn to crank 'er in. He gets up from his seat (the cooler) and was heading to the back of the boat. Lake Erie isn't the most calm of seas, and like a tempest tossed, the boat was rocking a bit back and forth. Dad lost his balance and landed on the container of fishing line clips and shattered it! Dad was fine, laughed about it, as did we.

The memory's still vivid, one month ago today, we painfully watched you, as you slipped away.
It hurts so much, not having you here, I woke up this morning, still trembling with fear.
Since you've been gone, not a day goes by, that I can remember, that I don't cry.
I'll never forget, seeing your last breath, my heart was ripped, upon your death.
I can't believe, how quickly you were taken, I wish I had the power, to make you awaken.
I miss your voice, I miss your smile, I miss your laugh, I'll miss you always not for awhile.
I love you, DAD, more than words can say, I'm thinking of you always, and on this very day.
I miss and love you Pop.
